Maintaining a beautiful neighborhood isn't just part of our association, we can actually reduce your weekend to do list too. Here are a few highlights, but to learn more click on the Maintenance Responsibilities link to the right.

LAWN SERVICES 

Mowing occurs weekly on Wednesdays (weather permitting) and includes edge trimming, mowing, removal of grass clippings from walkways & driveways, and 3 lawn applications throughout the year.  If weather does not permit mowing on the given day, a rescheduled date will be selected and communicated to homeowners. 

Tree Trimming occurs on trees along the roadsides only.  This is done as needed per tree growth by landscape professionals. The HOA provides that tree branches must be a minimum of 10' above the ground to allow for cars and pedestrians to pass unencumbered by branches.  This also contributes to the health and proper growth of the trees.

Snow Removal when snow fall reaches 2" or more streets, driveways, sidewalks, front walkways & front porches are shoveled or plowed.  

RECYCLE & TRASH PICK-UP 

Is provided by KC Disposal. They offer: 

-  1 each 65 gallon trash & recycle bin

-  Weekly pick-up on Fridays

-  Yard waste collection all year

       *   6 bags per week April- September

       *   10 bags per week October - March

-  Large waste pick-up last Friday of the month 

       *   only one item per household

       *   may  NOT include appliances or tube-type TVs

~  Any trash, recycle or yard waste above the allowed amount requires a sticker that may be purchased through KC Disposal, each sticker costs $2.00.

~  All waste disposal shall be placed at the curb the night prior or by 6 am on the morning of collection

~  All Yard Waste bags must be in brown paper yard waste bags and cannot weigh over 35 lbs. each

~   KCD is  closed on New Year’s Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day and Christmas. If one of these holidays is on a weekday and your collection day falls on or after the holiday, collection will be one day later that week only. If the holiday falls on a weekend; collection will occur on the normal schedule.

HOUSE PAINTING  Heatherwood provides exterior house and trim painting every 7 years to each resident's home. PPG brand paints are used due to their high quality and ability to withstand the elements.

HOA DUES are payable by the 1st of each month.  Monthly dues must be paid in full by the 1st of the month.  But don't delay, payments received after the 1st will be subject to a late fee. We also have the convenience of automatic payments. Checks may be mailed directly to the following address or you may fill out and submit the form to establish automatic payments between your bank and the HOA bank. Any additional questions you may have can be directed to the Board Treasurer
